ROOF GARDEN AT 818 VAN NESS

Living Green designed an award-winning commercial residential roof garden at 818 Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco. The design features custom fabricated Cor Ten steel planters set into a pedastaled, floating stone paver system, under which all electrical and irrigation lines are concealed. Large specimen trees, eye-catching plantings, and innovative water feature elements—all add to the creation of the comfortable and user-friendly park-like setting. Custom, powder coated steel trellises were utilized to accommodate large, colorful evergreen vines that vertically conceal some of the key blank walls.

Residents at 818 can use this horticulturally diverse roof garden for private relaxation and lounging with friends, or the lightweight furniture settings can be rearranged to accommodate group interaction.

SAN FRANCISCO DECORATOR SHOWHOUSE 2010

Living Green was invited to design the residence's Formal Terrace framed between the Living Room and Dining Room. Davis Dalbok designed the concept with Steven Schwager. "Our intention was to create a harmonious link between the rooms as well as comfortable retreat for relaxation and entertaining."

Using the creations of Luciano Tempo as inspiration, we created an elegant, timeless, and classic setting against the magnificent background of the Golden Gate Bridge.
