When Davis Dalbok pulled up to the gate of a 24 acre parcel near Hawaii’s Puna Coast, he quickly realized that the only way in was with a machete. A snaking pattern of palm crowns rose above the densely overgrown jungle, a horticultural trail of breadcrumbs beckoning Dalbok to venture in. “Once upon a time, this was an estate,” thought Dalbok. “Someone had loved it’. –Fast forward to 2017-
